Erin & Alix - "Hey mom! We need your help!"
"Why?"
Erin & Alix - "Because there's bologna stuck on the ceiling!"
Of course there is. Why wouldn't there be bologna on the ceiling?

I promise... the bathtub started out clean...
Who needs to color with plain old sidewalk chalk when you can create your own special blend of "chalk paint"?

I Need Your Help!
This coming Saturday I am participating in the 2009 MDA "Stride and Ride" with my brother-in-law Wes. He has muscular dystrophy. We are trying to raise money to fund research. So many great kids have this disease. We need to find a cure! MDA is a great organization and your donation is tax deductible. I know times are tough, but if we all chip in a little, it will add up. I am trying to raise $425. That is enough to fund five minutes of research. Please help me reach my goal! There are just a few days left! (Weird how time just sort of snuck up on me...) Thanks for your support! I know I have the best blog-readers out there!

Humiliation...
I have one pair of shorts. They're cute. They're long enough. I wore them every day last summer. And this one as well. Apparently I wore them one day too many...
Whilst I was garage saleing, I spotted a real treasure (also know as - someone else's garbage...) and bent over to take a closer look. And ripped my shorts all across the bottom. Nice. Let me add that this was a busy sale... Luckily they had some men's basketball shorts for sale. She gave them to me for free. Not the least embarrassing way to get free stuff.
(apparently there is no such word as saleing. or saling. so call me Shakespere. I just made it up.)

First Day of School
Brooke started First Grade on Wednesday. New school, new teacher, new friends, Same great attitude! This girl LOVES school and is super excited to go all day and eat lunch there. She has a great teacher and Isaac and Alyssa are in her class (two kids from church) so she's happy.
