Erin- "Mom. My didn't buckle my seat belt on the way to Brookie's school."
me- "Oh really?"
Erin- "Yeah. And my didn't even die!"
Nice. Maybe next time I'll try and hit a tree or something. Just a small one...

I taught Brooklyn a lesson of the same caliber. She always unbuckled her seatbelt in the driveway and stood up. So one day I thought if I got on the brakes a little hard she would realize how dangerous it was. You know not too hard just a little. NOT A GOOD IDEA! She went flying a little further than anticipated and busted up her gums. She still has a little split in her gums. OOPS! So I apparently was the one needing the lesson. :0) "Mom of the year", anyone?!
A girl in boots like those obviously has 'attitude!" And rightly so...she looks like she could "walk all over you!" (Sung to the tune of "These Boots are Made for Walking") So maybe she'd like to try walking home next to the car rather than in the car! I'll bet she wouldn't walk far.
