Erin and Alix were playing "family" the other day and this is what I overheard...
Erin - "No! I want to be the mommy! I really want to be the mommy!"
Alix - "Why?"
Erin - "Because she's the mean one!"
I've said it before, I'll say it again... Next life I want to be the dad....

Too funny! We moms always get the bad rap!
You know what it's true... we are the mean ones, usually. But later on almost all kids are a little closer to their moms than dads. We just have to wait a few decades and then it'll all be worth it.... hopefully. :]
I love the reality check we often get...even when we aren't asking for it! Take comfort in the fact that, at least they know who's really the boss!!!
I think she got it wrong...the mommy is the fun one!
